Yesterday in Christchurch I noticed all the diggers working on the Christchurch rebuild were using NSP attachments.
However up until now they have not had an internet presence. Up until the last few year that has been fine, but with the move for people searching online for information, rather than using business card files or the yellow pages. Their small business listing on a community website I created was what people found when they searched.
I suggested they have a new website, with more of their own branding, and lists of products, and search engine optimised so people could find them directly.
It was to be no frills website:
- the products front and centre
- emphasis on 100% NZ owned
- a family business
I built it on a Magazine Pro theme on the Genesis Framework with WordPress. I did some work in photoshop to remove the background from the images, so they stand out strongly in the slideshows.
